Helping People
This year we are doing things a little differently, as much as we’d love to come together to make a difference we’re going to make a difference from a distance.
We’re so excited that we’re able to start our feeding scheme again! A few things have changed though, we won’t only be providing sandwiches for school children but also people in communities that have suffered over the past couple months due to the world wide pandemic.
Another change is that you won’t be able to come assist us without making an appointment to join us, in order to do this please send us an email and let us know when you’d be able to help us. This way we’re able to make sure that we, and everyone helping us, stays safe.
We will be preparing sandwiches every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday,
Do you have previously loved clothing sitting in your cupboard looking for a new loving home? Why not donate them? Bring them to your nearest Rivers Church or Rivers Foundation so we can get them into a loving pair of hands.

To inspire faith and hope in impoverished communities by enabling them to improve their quality of life.
The Rivers Foundation was established in 2006 with a heart to help people. It was registered with the specific aim of addressing the unique challenges faced by the children, youth, unemployed and unskilled individuals in South African communities. All donations received are used to help our many beneficiaries – nothing goes towards operational costs.
The Rivers Foundation exists to be a helping hand to disadvantaged families and strives to strengthen communities through feeding schemes, coaching and mentoring, skills training and enterprise development.
We invite individuals and organisations to partner with us by supporting our vision to help people in need.
